In conjunction with actions at Tesla dealerships across the country, we bottom lined an a protest event at the Bellevue Tesla dealership at Bellevue Square. In past weeks, our members have protested at South Lake Union, the University District, Renton and other locations. We are saying no to MAGA-Fascism and no to enabling Elon Musk to use the fortune he built at Tesla to destroy our democracy. We have and will continue to take action at Tesla to stop Musk’s illegal coup.
As with this and future events, we gathered on the sidewalk at the corner of NE 8th St and Bellevue Way NE (across from the NE corner of Bellevue Square) to tell our neighbors it’s time to ditch Tesla and stop the coup! Folks brought signs, friends and family and of course, dressed for the weather. About 40 folks were at the Bellevue location, with close to 1,000 at the University District Tesla location.
